The Point-of-Care Ultrasound Certification Academy to developed the POCUS Fundamentals Certificate as a starting point for new and advanced POCUS practitioners to validate their clinical proficiency.
The certificate is designed to assess your knowledge on the basic physics and instrumentation of ultrasound when applied in a POCUS clinical evaluation, making it the perfect opportunity for practitioners who desire to advance their everyday use of POCUS technology with their patients.
Upon completion of the program and earning the POCUS Fundamentals Certificate, you should be able to:

- Define echogenicity and attenuation
- List and explain the ultrasound machine settings and modes

You bet! The Vave Wireless Ultrasound device and app are both secure. Our user authentication and passwords follow NIST standards.
Vave probe can be purchased by any licensed healthcare practitioner or facility in the United States permitted to perform diagnostic ultrasound in their state of practice. The device is prescriptive and currently unavailable for use by consumers.
Your Vave Ultrasound carries a 36-month standard device warranty
Nope! Your Vave probe includes its own ad hoc WiFi network so there is no need for you to connect to an external network for imaging.
